Day Two at Cardigan

On day two on our adventure to cardigan mountain we went to the AMC lodges and once we got there we unpacked and went in our groups. There were five groups and we looked at maps of the whole place. Then we left for the hike we went up Fire screw first and had Lunch to eat on top of a big rock. It was very pretty and serene. I had a turkey wrap and apples and then we got up and kept going then we passed glacial erratics. It was very big and pretty cool actually then we went for about another mile and stopped to color leaves then press it on our pages to show the leave marks.

Day two: Movement

On day two we went up Firescrew mountain it was very rocky and a pretty wooded area and then we took a break and we had lunch. Then after about 10 more minutes of hiking we found a Glacial Erratic. A glacial erratic is a big rock that is carried by glaciers up and up then when the ice melts the rock drops into place then it stays there for along time. We also found moving qater it was very quiet, then we saw flying birds they were blue and red.
